Are We Asking the Right Questions?

Are We Asking the Right Questions?

Do we ask ourselves enough questions?

Or have we become so entangled in the rhythm of routine, so accustomed to the script, that we’ve stopped questioning the plot of our own lives?

Socrates once said, “The unexamined life is not worth living.”

But in a world that moves faster than ever, when do we stop to examine it?

Are the rules we follow truly our own?

Are the standards we live by ones we consciously chose or merely inherited?

The Power of Questions in Self-Discovery

Lately, I’ve been sitting with questions that don’t have easy answers. And maybe, that’s exactly where growth begins.

Do we create enough space for questions to arise?

What is normal—and does it even exist?

Are we living lives we are designed for? Or have we simply adapted to a construct that was never truly ours?

Where does happiness reside? And when it arrives, do we allow ourselves to fully feel it? Or has happiness become so foreign that when we touch it, we doubt its presence, whispering, “This won’t last”?

Breaking Free from Unseen Limitations

What silent rules are shaping our lives without us even realising it?

And if we dared to crack them open, if we shattered them completely, what would be on the other side?

Fear? Doubt? Or freedom?

One of my mentors, Dr. John Demartini, often says:

“The quality of your life is determined by the quality of the questions you ask yourself.”

So, I ask:

What’s stopping us from asking the hard questions?

The Comfort Zone: Safe or Stagnant?

Is the comfort zone really comfortable? Or is it simply familiar?

If it were so comfortable, why is it filled with quiet resentment, hidden frustration, and unspoken disappointment?

The Boundaries of Potential: Do They Exist?

Where does our potential end?

Does it end?

How do we know we’ve reached it, if the moment we arrive, we begin yearning for more?

What are the limits of you, of me, of us?

Do limits even exist?

In a limitless universe, I sit with that thought.

Are the limits we perceive truly real? Or are they constructs we’ve been conditioned to accept?

Your Invitation: Sit With the Questions

So, I leave you with this:

What’s the question lingering in your mind?

And if there is one, why not sit with it for a while?

The answers you seek may not come easily, but the right question has the power to change everything.
